There are different kinds and types of the Bible in the world today, but as a Christian knowing the right one to use is imperative. The King James version of the Old and New Testament is a must.
After learning about what type of Bible that we should be using, its time to start learning how to use it.
Pick it up and read it right from the first and read it straight through to the end. Take your time to let it sink in and inspire you. This process might take you a while don’t worry just read a chapter every day whatever you can do.
You will find that you will grow stronger and more knowledgeable as you go along. I’m telling you it will inspire you.
It’s a great book to read and what you learn will amaze you. A guide to live by a roadmap to eternity or may I say eternal life.
Most people if not all people need some sort of help.
Here’s a few things to think about…..
Proverbs 3:5 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Proverbs 3:6 – In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
John 14:14 – If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].
2Ch 7:13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land
Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto treasurehid in a field; (in this text treasure is referred to as the New Covenant and the field is the world)the which when a man hath found,(speaking of the treasure in Christ)he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.(Christ is worth more than anything that is, was, or ever will be)
It tells us in saint John(KJV) how we can have that Everlasting Life something that most of us if not all of us want to have. Now you say how can that happen well it tells us in
John 3:14- that “And Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up”:
John 3:15- That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Yes, this is the way to eternal life but there’s is more, it has to come from our “HEART” that’s right it all revolves around our Heart.
You can do everything that you can to be good, do all the work you can for the Lord but, you got to understand that works can not save your soul.
Like I said before, it has to come from our Heart through the Holy Spirit. When the Lord tugs on our HEART, that’s when you should repent and ask for salvation.
Now you need to understand a few things here that I am going to explain to you. To fear is an awful thing to have and deal with. Fear is something that comes from the devil. Love comes from GOD. Love conquers fear every time.
The point this article is trying to make and ask is, are you saved? If you don’t know the answer to that, than you are probably not.
Do you want to be saved? You can be saved at any place or any time when the holy spirit is tugging on your heart.
You have to humble yourself, repent and ask the Lord to come into your heart and make Him your Lord and savior. Just as it says in…
John 3:16- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God loves every one, God tells us in…
Proverbs 9:10 that “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Understanding the things in this article will help you in understanding Gods way. We will be learning more about the new and old covenant of the Lord in some of our next aricles.
Have you ever wondered when the problems of this world begin?
When Eve was beguiled by the serpent in the Garden of Eden. That was the beginning of sin. When Adam and Eve eat from the tree in the garden that the Lord forbade. At the beginning of the world Satan was already on the prowl of who he could devour, just as he is today. The beginning of sin.
